Patient-derived neuronal networks

The research focuses on neuronal networks derived from patient-specific human induced pluripotent stem cells, cultured on Micro-Electrode Array (MEA) platforms. These models are used to characterize disease-related alterations in neuronal activity, identify underlying cellular causes, and assess patient-specific responses to pharmacological treatments, enabling personalized in vitro drug screening for neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders.
